Choirs
Choirs of all ages from the Academy of Gospel Music have delivered an eclectic range of music in towns and cities across the UK and Europe since June 2000.  Venues and engagements have included TV, theatre, concert halls, football stadiums, large sporting arenas and outdoor festivals.  Building on these successes we have started choir activities in our new Centre.

Our programmes will run alongside the school academic year; autumn, spring and summer terms.  Each term will provide an opportunity for musical expression at an end of term concert.

There promises to be a busy and varied programme of activities, concerts and other engagements including opportunities to record the works of local and international gospel artists.


Term dates

Autumn programmes start the week beginning Monday 28th  September 2009 and end with a concert before Christmas.  The date and venue of the end of term concert t.b.c.

Spring programmes start the week beginning Monday 11th January 2010 and end with a concert before Easter.  The date and venue of the end of term concert t.b.c.

Summer programmes start the week beginning Monday 3rd May 2010.  The date and venue of the summer concert t.b.c.


FEES

Choir fees are payable at the beginning of each term.  These cover all regular rehearsals, extra rehearsals as needed, a dress rehearsal and end of term concert.  
A 5% discount is offered for payment of 2 terms in advance
A 10% discount is offered for payment of all 3 terms in advance
